Leopard caught in cage set up by Forest department

CHAMARAJANAGAR: In a major breakthrough, a leopard was trapped in a cage in Taggalur of Gundlupet taluk after several efforts following which villagers have released a sigh of relief. People were scared because of the leopard’s menace.

The leopard had been attacking livestock and causing panic among villagers. It was captured in a cage after being sighted in Taggaluru, Bhogayyanahundi, and Kalanahundi areas.
