Lawyer ends life after coming under train

BENGALURU: A lawyer has died by suicide by jumping in front of the Hampi Express train going from Bengaluru to Mysuru at Jnanabharathi railway station.

The deceased lawyer, Hemant Kumar, a resident of JP Nagar 6th phase, was missing for three days, and his wife, Neha had filed a missing person’s complaint at the Puttenahalli police station.

Hemant worked as a lecturer in a private college and had quit his job to pursue a career in law. The exact reason behind his suicide is unclear, and a case has been registered at the Majestic Railway police station.
