BENGALURU: A lawyer was brutally attacked by a man with a machete in broad daylight outside the court premises in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday. The lawyer was identified as Kannan (30) while the accused is as Anand.
Advocate Kannan was brutally attacked by Anand with a machete, resulting in serious injuries in the head. Severely bleeding, he was rushed to a hospital by other advocates. The reason behind the attempt to murder is said to be an alleged illegal affair.
Police visted the spot and gathered information. A video clip of the brutal murder has gone viral on social media. Fellow advocates staged a protest in front of the court condemning the attack and demanding immediate arrest of the accused and severe punishment for him.
