BENGALURU: The social, economic and educational survey, also known as the caste survey concluded in the state on Saturday, excluding Bengaluru. The government will decide whether the survey will be extended or concluded.
So far, 95.20 per cent of the survey has been completed across the state. As of now, 1.41 crore houses have been surveyed out of the total target of 1.48 crore houses. Only 6-7 lakh houses are left to be surveyed.
With 1.62 lakh houses surveyed on Friday, a total of 5.22 crore people have participated in the survey. Whether the survey will be extended or concluded remains uncertain.
The caste survey in Karnataka has achieved 95.20 per cent progress, with 1,41,04,331 houses surveyed out of the target of 1,48,14,286, and 5,22,64,067 individuals have participated in the survey so far, accounting for 85.72 per cent of the total population.
The caste survey has achieved 38.34 per cent progress in Greater Bengaluru, with 17,20,560 houses surveyed out of the target of 39,82,335, and a total survey population of 53,41,343.
