TUMAKURU: A labourer died in an accident at the Gouri Akshaya crusher plant at Hosahalli in Madhugiri taluk.
The labourer had climbed a steep hill with a rope and was drilling a hole in the rock. However, he slipped and fell after losing balance and died.
The deceased labourer has been identified as Eranna (53) and belongs to Bidarahalli village in Kollegal taluk. Four months ago, another labourer died in a similar incident.
A case has been registered at the Tumakuru Rural rolice Station.
