BENGALURU: A labourer fell from the second floor of an under construction house while removing the centring and died on the spot due to severe bleeding in Gejjagadahalli village near Nelamangala on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Sunday.
The deceased Beerappa (34), a native of Gopalapur village in Yadgir district, had been working in the area for the past eight years. He leaves behind a wife and two children. His family depended on him for their livelihood.
Beerappa was a source of support for hundreds of labourers, providing them with work opportunities. Upon learning of his death, numerous labourers gathered at the scene. A case has been registered at the Madanayaknahalli police station in connection with the incident.
