UDUPI: A married woman has gone missing after parking her two-wheeler and leaving her footwear on a bridge across the Kundapur Kodi, prompting a search and rescue operation by the police and the Fire and Emergency Services.
Hina Kausar’s (33) two-wheeler and footwear were found on the bridge around 4 am on Monday following which her family lodged a missing person’s complaint with the Kundapur police. Hina’s husband is abroad and she has been living her with her mother and two children.
The police and firemen continued their search in the river on Tuesday. Meanwhile, it is being said that Hina Kauser was acquainted to a man, who is also a resident of Kundapur. Surprisingly, he too has gone missing, leading to suspicion about suicide or a staged suicide.
