BENGALURU: The state government on Thursday transferred Mangaluru Police Commissioner N Shashikumar and posted him as DIG, Railways. Kuldeep Kumar Jain has been posted in Shashikumar’s place.
The move comes in the wake of a complaint by a woman to ADGP Alok Kumar that Shashikumar was misuising his position.
Among other IPS transfers, Dekka Kishore Babu has been posted as SP-Intelligence, Dr K Vamsi Krishna as SP-Wireless, Bengaluru, Mohammed Sujeeta as DCP-Traffic, Bengaluru South, Arunangshu Giri as DCP-CAR, Bengaluru and Yashoda Vantagodi as SP, Koppal.
