BENGALURU: A staffer at a popular sweet shop was arrested by police for secretly filming a woman in a washroom in Koramangala.
The sweet shop staffer filmed the woman without her knowledge. The incident took place on April 25 around 8 pm. The woman caught the perpetrator in the act and raised an alarm. She later lodged a complaint with the Koramangala police station.
The police apprehended the accused, Amodh, a native of North India. The police seized his phone, but the video had already been deleted. The phone was sent for data retrieval. The police are investigating whether the accused had committed similar offences in the past. He was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
