KMF to cut prices of Nandini products from Monday

BENGALURU: The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has announced that it will cut prices on Nandini products effective from Monday following the GST revision. The prices of Nandini products will be reduced and the new price list has been released. The price reduction is due to the recent GST rate cuts.

Some products’ GST rates have been reduced from 12 per cent to 5 per cent, and others from 5 per cent to zero. As a result, KMF has decided to reduce prices on Nandini products from September 22.

The prices of ghee, butter, cheese and other products have been reduced. The prices of paneer and UHT milk (Good Life) have also been decreased, with the GST rate reduced from 5 per cent to zero. The GST rate on butter, ghee, and cheese has been reduced from 12 per cent to 5 per cent starting Monday. KMF has already begun fixing prices for products that have seen a GST reduction.

While cookies, chocolates, and ice cream will see a reduction from 18 per cent to 5 per cent. Additionally, paneer will see a GST reduction from 5 per cent to zero. These changes will be effective from September 22.
