Killer doctor Mahendra Reddy bought Propofol anesthesia himself to inject into his wife

BENGALURU: The investigation into the murder case of Dr Krutika Reddy by her husband has revealed that the accused, Dr Mahendra Reddy, had purchased anesthesia injections by threatening medical shop owners, claiming to be a surgeon. Dr Mahendra Reddy has been arrested for killing his wife, Dr Kruthika Reddy, by administering anesthesia.

During the investigation, the accused revealed that he had bought the anesthesia injection propofol from a medical shop by showing a prescription and claiming it was for treatment. He had gone to the medical shop himself and purchased the medicine. The medical shop owner had initially refused to give the injection, but Mahendrva Reddy claimed to be a surgeon and convinced him to give it to him.

After purchasing the injection, Mahendra Reddy administered it to his wife Krutika, through an IV at their home. The overdose led to her death. Due to the injection overdose, Krutika first fell asleep and then slipped into a coma. The accused is currently in custody, and the police are investigating further to uncover more details about the case.
