BELAGAVI: A 40-year-old man was mudered by his neighbour after he questioned the latter about teasing his wife, in Khanapur town on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Maruthi Jadhav (40), while the accused has been identified as Prashanth Naverkar, a neighbour.
For the past few days, Prashanth had allegedly been teasing Maruthi’s wife. On Sunday, when Maruthi questioned him about it, Prashanth hacked him to death with deadly weapons.
The incident occurred in Khanapur police limits where a case has been registered.
