BENGALURU: The Kendriya Vidyalaya on the Indian Institute of Science campus in the city has received a bomb threat message through e-mail.
According to sources, the threat e-mail was received on January 30, but the issue has come to light only now. The email, sent from the ID from [email protected], claimed that a bomb had been planted in the school and would go off at 10.20 am on that day.
The anti-sabotage and bomb detection squads were pressed into service and it was later ascertained that the email was a hoax. A complaint was filed by the principal Amritbala of Kendriya Vidyalaya at the Yeshwantpur police station.
