BENGALURU: The Kempegowda International Award will be given this year to senior politician S M Krishna, Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy and former badminton star Prakash Padukone.
Making the announcement after calling on BJP leader S M Krishna, Higher Education Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan said the awards will be presented on Kempegowda Jayanti on June 27.
Prashant Prakash of the Vision Group-Startup Karnataka, was the selection committee chairman while T V Mohandas Pai, chairman of Manipal Global Education and retired bureaucrat Shankaralinge Gowda were the members.
