BENGALURU: In a major reshuffle in the state police, the state government on Tuesday announced transfers of 35 IPS officers. The transfers cover Bengaluru and other parts of the state including crime and traffic.
Dr Chandragupta, Inspector General of Police & Additional Commissioner of Police, Crimes, Bengaluru, is transferred with mediate effect and posted as Inspector General of Police, North-Eastern Range, Kalaburgi, in place of Ajay Hilori who has been posted as DIGP and Joint Commissioner of Police-Crime, Bengaluru.
M N Anucheth, DIG and Joint mmissioner of Police-Traffic, Bengaluru City, has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Recruitment in the vacant post. Karthik Reddy, DIGP, Administration, State Police Head Quarters, Bengaluru, has been posted as DIG, Joint Commissioner of Police-Traffic, Bengaluru in place of Anucheth.
Iada Martin Marbaniang, who was waiting for posting, has been posted as DIGP (Administration), Police Headquarters, Bengaluru, in the upgraded vacant post. Vartika Katiyar, Deputy Inspector General & Additional Commandant General, Home Guards & Ex-officio Additional Director, Civil Defence, Bengaluru, has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bellary Range in the downgraded vacant post.

Shivanshu Rajput, who was SP, State Crime Record Bureau, in Bengaluru, has been transferred as SP of KGF in place of K M Shantharaju.
Jitendra Kumar Dayama, SP of the Anti Naxal Force in Udupi district, has been transferred as DCP (Law & Order) in Mangaluru City in the place of Sidharth Goyal. Deepan M N, who was Commandant, 1 Battalion, Karnataka State Reserve Police, Bengaluru, has been posted as SP of Uttara Kannada in place of M Narayana.
