BENGALURU: The Karnataka government has fulfilled a long-standing demand of the state government employees after the cabinet approved the 7th Pay Commission with effect from August 1.
In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday, a decision was taken to implement the 7th Pay Commission for state government employees with effect from August 1. An important state cabinet meeting was held under the leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after the first day of the Assembly session.
Many development projects in the state were also approved in the meeting. On the same occasion, there was a discussion about the demand of state government employees for many days to implement the salary as per the 7th Pay Commission. Finally, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah approved the decision to implement the 7th Pay Commission for state government employees with effect from August 1. (ANI)
