BENGALURU: ‘Kantara’ hero Rishabh Shetty inaugurated a government higher primary school at Subramanyanagar in Malleswaram constituency on Monday.
Rishab Shetty is making waves at the international level by crossing the language barrier. Earlier, he spoke in Kannada at the UNHCR meeting. After this, the respect from the fans has doubled. On Sunday, Rishabh Shetty, in the presence of Yadugiri Yathiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami and constituency MLA Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, inaugurated the 24th model school.
Addressing the event, he said that such schools should be set up in the villages too. In 2018, the Kannada movie ‘ Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu’, directed by Rishabh Shetty, which had a positive message to the audience, also touched upon language supremacy, and the plight of a Kannada-medium government-run secondary and high School, which faces financial difficulties due to the non-receipt of funds from the government.
