CHIKKODI: The Kagwad tahsildar took the police personnel posted at a checkpost to task for letting the car belonging to the son of an MLA pass without checking it. He has now decided to issue notices to the police personnel.
Srinivas Patil, the son of Kagwad MLA Shrimanth Patil was passing through a checkpost on the outskirts of the town and instead of checking the vehicle, the police personnel let the vehicle pass.
After receiving oral complaints from locals, the tahsildar visited the checkpost and took the police personnel to task. Notices will also be issued to them, he said and warned them against dereliction of duty.
