Jilted lover sets fire to woman’s car, bikes for rejecting his advances

BENGALURU: A youth set fire to a woman’s car and bikes in Subramanyapura, allegedly after she refused his proposal. The accused, Rahul, along with his friends, went to the woman’s house and set fire to her car and bikes.

The woman had repeatedly rejected Rahul’s advances, which enraged him and led him to commit the crime. Rahul and his aides arrived at the woman’s house on three to four bikes and set fire to her car and bikes parked outside her house.

They then proceeded to an apartment complex at Srinidhi, Subramanyapura, where they set fire to more cars. The security guard at the apartment complex tried to stop them, but they assaulted him as well.

A case has been registered at the Subramanyapura police station in connection with the incident and the police are on the lookout for the accused.
