Jigani police nab main suspect in illegal Pakistani immigrants racket from B’luru railway station

BENGALURU: Following the arrest of seven illegal Pakistani immigrants, who were living in Jigani, the main suspect, Parvez, has been arrested from the Bengaluru railway station. The Jigani police acted swiftly after getting specific information about Parvez.

Two of the arrested Pakistani nationals were produced before a court last Thursday.

According to the police, Parvez arranged Indian documents for Pakistani nationals who had entered illegally. Those arrested earlier, who were propagating the teaching of religious leader Younus AlGohar, were all in touch with Parvez. They were all acting on his instructions, police said.

Parvez is said to be the head of the Mehdi Foundation which is involved in disseminating Younus AlGohar’s preachings. With his arrest, the number of illegal Pakistani nationals apprehended has risen to eight. The Jigani police have taken him into custody and and questioning him.
