BENGALURU: A Jharkhand-origin woman attempted suicide by jumping off the Electronics City flyover over an allegedly family dispute near Chikkathoguru in the City on Wednesday. The severely injured woman is identified as Yamika Mishra (28).
On Wednesday morning, Yamika, an employee of a private firm, had left home to for a walk. She suffered severe injuries in the face and suffered fractured after falling from a height. Some locals immediately admitted her to Kaveri Hospital near Electronics City.
Police suspect that Yamika Mishra may have tried to commit suicide due to a family dispute. The exact reason for the incident will be known after she recovers. The Electronics City police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
