BALLARI: Months after the Assembly election, the bitterness in the Reddy household continues. Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha (KRPP) leader G Janardhana Reddy on Friday skipped the wedding of his nephew Sandeep Reddy, held in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
Sandeep Reddy is the son of Janardhana Reddy’s elder brother G Somashekar Reddy. Sandeep got married to Divya, daughter of businessman Sudhakar Reddy, but Janardhana Reddy and his family members were conspicuous by their absence.
During the Assembly election, Janardhana Reddy had fielded his wife Lakshmi Aruna from the same constituency where Somashekar Reddy had contested. It is said the she was indirectly responsible for Somashekar’s defeat in the election and the two brothers have been at odds ever since the launch of the KRPP.
