SHIVAMOGGA : A 19-year-old youth was killed after being gored by a bull in Kalmane village of Shikaripur taluk. Puneet Achar, who was seriously injured in the attack, succumbed to his injuries though he was rushed to a hospital.
Puneet Achar, a resident of Hosmalali village in Nyamati taluk of Davangere district, was pursuing ITI and was staying in a hostel in Shikaripur town. He was seriously injured after the bull’s attack and was admitted to McGann District Hospital, SIMS. But Puneeth died in the district hospital without responding to the treatment.
A case has been registered at Shikaripur Rural police station.
