BENGALURU: A bomb threat email was sent to the Israeli Consulate General office at Halasuru in in the city, under Halasuru police station limits on Wednesday morning. The email claimed that an RDX bomb had been planted in the office premises and would explode within a few hours.
The consulatae staff alerted the police, and a team from the Halasuru police station, bomb squad and dog squad conducted a thorough search of the premises, but no explosives were found during the search.
The incident has been reported to the CCB Cyber Crime station, and a case has been registered. Further investigation is under way.
