BENGALURU: Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Roopa D Moudgil and Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Rohini Sindhuri, who had not been given any posting for the last seven months after they got into a personal feud, have now got new positions as the order issued by the government.
Rohini Sindhuri has been appointed as Chief Editor in the Karnataka Gazetteer Department by the government. Soon after Sindhuri’s posting on Wednesday, Roopa was posted as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Internal Security.
A few months ago, the two officer had an open fight with each other over corruption charges. At that time, the government had transferred both of them without giving them any posting. The Siddaramaiah-led Congress government, which is effecting a shakeup in the administration and police department, has now given postings to both officers.
