BENGALURU: Four people, including a young child, were seriously injured in a serial accident on the Bengaluru-Hosur National Highway under the Chandapura railway bridge in Anekal taluk on Friday. The accident occurred around 6.45 am, involving a BMTC bus, two cars and a lorry.

Four people, including a young child, were seriously injured and trapped in the wreckage for over two hours. Locals rushed them to the hospital and cleared the vehicles, as police took time to arrive despite the police station being nearby.

Locals expressed frustration with the Surya City police, criticizing them for not learning from repeated accidents at the spot and arriving two hours after the incident.
