BENGALURU: An Indira Canteen staffer was verbally abused with obscene language by some miscreants after objecting to parking a car in front of the canteen on 9th Main Road near Yeshwantpur on Saturday evening.

Whene the staffer was sweeping the area in front of the Indira canteen, a car had been parked there. As soon as he asked the driver not to park there, the driver responded by hurling obscene words at the staff member following which a complaint was lodged at the Yeshwantpur police station.

When the staff asked the driver not to park in front of the canteen and took a photo of the car, the driver allegedly started using abusive language, behaved in a nasty manner, saying something like, “Why are you taking a photo? I’ll unzip my pants and take a photo now”.

The Indira Canteen staffer claimed that despite filing a complaint, no action has been taken so far. While abusing him with obscene language for telling him not to park the car in front of the canteen, the canteen staffer took a photo of the car. For this, the car driver asked, “Why did you take a photo of the car?” He then unzipped his pants and behaved badly, saying, “Take a photo now”.

The Indira Canteen staff alleged that no action has been taken even after he complained about this.
