BENGALURU: Income Tax (I-T) officials raided four locations of Prestige Group, a leading real estate developer in India, in connection with alleged tax evasion this on Tuesday morning.
The raids were conducted at the group’s head office on Brunton Road near MG Road and other locations in Shivaji Nagar.
Around 50 IT officials arrived simultaneously in several vehicles to conduct the raids, which were led by officials from Delhi, Goa and Bengaluru. The raids were reportedly in connection with allegations of tax evasion by the Prestige Group, which has various businesses, including construction of apartment complexes, malls, office spaces, etc.
