Income Tax department raids 30 locations in Bengaluru, Mysuru

BENGALURU: Income Tax officials conducted a massive operation across the state on Wednesday. The operation was carried out at over 30 locations, including Bengaluru and Mysuru.

In Mysuru alone, IT officials raided over 10 locations, including M Pro Palace Hotels and wedding halls. The officials conducted a thorough search at these locations.

A team of 10 officials arrived at the locations in three cars and seized the security guards’ phones to prevent any information from being leaked.

The raids, which began early in the morning, were still ongoing at several locations, including M Pro Palace near Deve Gowda Circle in Mysuru.

Another raid was conducted at the residence of contractor Ramakrishnegowda in Ramakrishnanagar, Mysuru. Ramakrishnegowda is involved in various businesses, including a brick factory.
