BAGALKOT: Income Tax officials on Thursday raided the residence of late Nandakumar Patil, a partner of Vijayapura’s Balaji Sugars, at Anand Nagar in Mudhol town. Recently, wall clocks and T-shirts with pictures of Congress leader S R Patil were found at the sugar factory premises.
The I-T officials also raided the residence of H L Patil, a director of the sugar factory, at Sector 55, Navanagar in Bagalkot. The raids were conducted simultaneously and the officials were checking all the relevant documents.
