Honey Nut Granola Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the oats, almonds, walnuts, and coconut.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the honey, coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the warm honey mixture over the oat mixture and mix until everything is coated.
- Spread the mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the granola cool completely.
- Once cool, break the granola into pieces and store it in an airtight container.
