BENGALURU: A housewife committed suicide by hanging at their house at Balaji Layout in Uttarahalli under Subramanyapura police limits on Sunday. The exact reason for her taking the extreme step was not immediately known.
Roopa was married to Hanumantha who hails from Kanakapura and is a panipuri vendor. She ended her life around 3 pm on Sunday when no one was at home. The couple have an eight-year-old child.
The Subramanyapura police visited the spot and have taken up investigation after registering a case. The body was taken to Kanakapura on Monday for the final rites after the post-mortem examination.
