Hotel’s digital display board says Hindi is official language

BENGALURU: Amidst widespread protests in Karnataka against the imposition of Hindi, a hotel manager from another state has sparked outrage in Bengaluru.

The manager displayed the message ‘Hindi is the official language’ on a digital display board at a cafe near Gangamma Circle in Vidyaranyapura. This has triggered widespread anger among locals, who took to social media to express their outrage.

As soon as a video of the display went viral, Vidyaranyapura police took immediate action by removing the digital board and registering a case.
