Hotelier assaulted by group of rowdies after argument over kabab pieces

BENGALURU: A hotelier was badly assaulted by a group of rowdies at Malgudi’s Nati Style Hotel in Konanakunte over a trival reason on Thursday night. The attack was captured on CCTV camera. A video of the scuffle has gone viral on social media.

Hotel owner Babanna said, “four boys came to the hotel at 11 pm on Thursday and asked for a parcel of kababs. Of them, two are Abhi and Manu and the other two are their friends. They were supposed to pay the bill Rs 120, but paid only Rs 90. When we questioned about it, they took the parcel and left saying they will return. When they came for a second time, they attacked our boys alleging that the staff had given them less kabab pieces. I intervened to stop the brawl, but they hit me on the face and head which resulted in. The accused live next to our hotel. They might have consumed ganja”.

The rowdies also threatened the staff that if the issue was reported, they would not spare them, he added. An FIR was registered at Konanakunte police station.
