MANGALURU: A clash broke out between two groups of Muslim history-sheeters on the road in Ammemar, Bantwal taluk. They were seen fighting with swords over previous enmity on Thursday night. The incident was captured on a mobile camera.
Two youths, Tasleem and Mohammed Shaqeer, chased youths and attacked them with swords in the middle of the road. The accused, including Mansoor, Pulti Imran, Musthafa Yani Mich, Sarfuddin, Ashraf, Rizwan, Safwan, Adnan, Nisak, Yaseer, Suhaib, Javed, Sadiq, and Latif, have been booked.
According to the complaint, the injured Tasleem received a phone call while talking to his friends, and the accused used derogatory language and challenged him. When Tasleem and his friends arrived near Ammemar school, the accused attacked them.A case has been registered at the Bantwal Rural Police Station.
