BENGALURU: A history sheeter was hacked to death with a sharp weapon at Anjanappa Garden in Cottonpet on the day of Mahashivaratri.
The history-sheeter has been identified as Shiva alias Varte. The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of the Cottonpet police station.
The police are yet to ascertain the reason behind his murder and are on the lookout for the murderers. The police sources said that some miscreants killed the rowdy brutally using a sharp weapon. They added that they are now on the lookout for the murderers.
