History-sheeter attacked by gang with machetes in broad daylight at a hotel in Sadahalli

BENGALURU: A history-sheeter was brutally attacked by a gang of three to four people with machetes, attempted murder at a hotel in Sadahalli Gate. The police arrested three accused. The history sheeter has been identified as Manjunath and he is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The incident, which occurred on December 24, was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the hotel. The footage shows Manjunath sitting and talking to someone at the hotel when the four accused, including two history-sheeters, suddenly attack him with machetes.

According to police, Manjunath was talking with other two history-sheeters regarding a compromise and were trying to negotiate a settlement. The accused, who came from outside, brutally attacked Manjunath in a fit of rage. The police have registered an FIR at the Chikkajala police station and are investigating further.
