BENGALURU: Chikkaballapur Congress MLA Pradeep Eshwar has lashed out at Uttara Kannada MP Ananthkumar Hegde for his remarks on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, saying, “You people will see Sri Ram, Siddaramaiah, Ambedkar and Siddaganga Shri in our hearts”.
Speaking to reporters, he said Ananthkumar Hegde should mind his language. “Hinduism is not your father’s property. Lord Rama, Siddaramaiah, and Devaraj Urs, including Ambedkar and Siddaganga Shri reside in our hearts. Do you think Hinduism is in your blood alone? Stop treating Hindu dharma as your father’s property”, Pradeep Eshwar said, while referrring to Hegde.
“Who will be held responsible if anyone takes the law into their hands after his provocative statement? Some untoward incidents can happen because of his derogatory statement, and hence, an FIR should be filed against the MP and he should be arrrest. Our government will take strict action against him”, Pradeep said.
“Ananthkumar Hegde may be a popular MP, but he should mind tongue. Does he think Hinduism is his father’s property? He should know that he will not get a ticket in the BJP in the future. He lost his ministerial position because of his damaging statements. Why should we tolerate his loose talk?” the MLA asked.
“Let’s talk ‘Kam Ki Baat’ along with ‘Mann Ki Baat’. We are also Hindus and we also have faith in Sri Rama. If you say one word, we will reply with four words. Let’s see where this fight will end”, Pradeep Eshwar threw a challenge at Ananthkumar.
