BENGALURU: Hindu organisations have started a poster campaign in the coastal areas to raise awareness against love jihad. They also plan to hold a protest and demand strict action against such acts.

Posters put up Hindu organisations in the coastal areas to raise awareness about ‘Love Jihad’.

The Hindu organisations have released a poster referring to the Delhi Shraddha Walkar murder case and organised a new campaign to create awareness among the community to guard against love jihad. The poster reads, “Shraddha Walkar was a Hindu woman and her body was chopped into 35 pieces. The reason is love jihad. Don’t become a victim”.

Mohan Gowda, head of the Hindu Janajagruthi Samiti.

“Many cases of ‘love jihad’ are coming to light across the country now. Many Hindu girls are converted and they are trained to be part of terrorism. ‘Love Jihad’ is a trap to convert Hindus. We need strict rules against this, like in other states, and we need a special police force to tackle these kinds of anti-social activities. The Hindu Janajagruthi Samiti will organise a protest to demand implementation of stricter rules”, said Mohan Gowda, head of the Hindu Janajagruthi Samiti.
