Families took a pledge not to fall prey to 'love jihad'.

GADAG: Several Hindu families took a pledge not to fall prey to ‘love jihad’ at a Ganapati pandal organised by the Kranti Sena at Betageri here on Thursday evening. Men, women and children were part of the oath-taking event.

The participants noted that of late, Hindu youths, women and even families were converting to other religions and falling prey to ‘love jihad’. They pledged in the name of Lord Ganesha and Lord Ram that they will not fall prey to ‘love jihad’, betray their parents and families and the Hindu community.

Hundreds of members of the SSK Samaj, women, youths and parents took part in the event.
