BENGALURU: “The higher education system needs to be upgraded to grow globally”, said HR Ranganath, Chairman of Public TV.
Speaking at the 4th edition of the two-day Vidhya Mandira postgraduate education expo, he emphasized there is need to upgrade the higher education system to reach globally.
Ranganath noted that while India has improved its infrastructure in higher education, the curriculum and quality of education need to be upgraded. He added that people are increasingly inquiring about education systems in Europe and China, and it’s essential for India’s education system to be recognised globally.
He also highlighted that choosing a course is as important as pursuing it. “We have a higher education system, but we need to upgrade it. India is capable of providing global-level education”, he said. Ranganath added that events like the education expo would help students choose the best institutions for their education.
