KOLAR: A man, who was reportedly under the influence of ganja, stabbed a woman police officer in Bangarpet town. The injured is Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Farida Banu.
The attacker was identified as Ajay Singh, hailing from Jharkhand. However, the motive for the attack was not immediately known. He has since been arrested by the police.
The incident has led to concern among citizens about the prevailing law and order situation. Meanwhile, the injured police officer is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
