BENGALURU: A high alert has been declared at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Bengaluru amid the tense situation between India and Pakistan. Employees’ leaves have been cancelled and staff have been instructed to be prepared for overtime work.

HAL, a government-owned aerospace and defence manufacturing company, is headquartered in Bengaluru and is one of the oldest and largest aerospace and defense manufacturers in the world, founded on December 23, 1940.
