TUMAKURU: The district administration has issued orders for diverting heavy vehicle traffic, including KSRTC buses, on February 6 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate a helicopter facility of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL)
As per the orders issues by Deputy Commissioner Y S Patil, heavy vehicles coming from Nittur side will have to take the Nittur-TB Cross-Turuvekere road to reach KB Cross. Likewise, heavy vehicles coming from Tiptur side will have to take KB Cross-TB Cross road to reach Nittur.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive on February 6 to inaugurate the HAL facility near Nittur in Gubbi taluk. In view of this, movement of heavy vehicles in front of the HAL facility has been restricted on that day.
