Film industry artists, celebrities and fans also poured their love on social media with warm birthday wishes.

Later, talking to the media, Shivarajkumar said, “I had not celebrated my birthday for the past three years. Last year, I did not celebrate because of Appu’s sudden demise. Fans came to my house to wish me well on this day. This time, they should be happy to see me in a different role in the movies ‘Ghost’ and ‘Jailer”.

“We have grown up seeing Rajinikanth since childhood. Our families have had ties even in the past. I am happy to have acted in ‘Jailer’ with Rajanikant. The teaser of the movie ‘Ghost’ will be released at Santhosh theatre. It is even more fun to celebrate my birthday with fans”, he added.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah extended his wishes to the Hattrick hero on Twitter. Shivarajkumar also paid tributes to his father Dr Rajkumar and mother Parvathamma Rajkumar at their memorial at Kanteerava Studios. He then participated in ‘Ghost’ movie teaser launch ceremony.
