KALABURAGI: The accused arrested in the murder of Hindu activist Harsha in Shivamogga got into a brawl with another group of undertrials at the central jail here, leading to many of them sustaining injuries.
The jail authorities had a tough time in breaking the fight and they finally informed Police Commissioner R Chetan about the incident.
A police team, led by DCP Praveen, raided the jail on Friday night and recovered lethal weapons, two mobile phones and Rs 10,000 in cash from the two warring groups. A case has been registered in this connection at the Farhatabad police station.
