Haphazard parking at Bowring Hospital leaves no space for ambulances

BENGALURU: The historic building of the prestigious Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital is being demolished and a new building is being constructed. However, this has led to haphazard parking, leaving no space for ambulances. Despite having designated areas for ambulance parking within the hospital premises, the issue persists.

Private vehicles are exacerbating the problem by parking indiscriminately. Although the hospital’s rear gate allows entry to the OPD, traffic congestion near Shivajinagar Church remains a major concern. Despite repeated requests to the traffic police, the issue remains unresolved.

Bowring Hospital is popular for its excellent treatment, but the construction work is affectign ambulance movement and orderly parking of other private vehicles. This is crucial problem and hospital visitors are requesting the authoriy concerned to solve the problem at the earliest possible.
