KALABURAGI: Girl students of the Gulbarga University hostel staged a protest on Tuesday night against the lack of water for drinking and utilities.
The students staged protest outside the university BCM hostel and complained that they are not even getting proper food. They said they had no water supply for two days and had to skip classes as they could not bathe.
The protest came on the back of students being given hygiene kits. The girls continued their protest late into the night, but the backward classes development officer did not turn up.
