TUMAKURU: Gubbi MLA S R Srinivas stoked a controversy after he was seen with his hand over the shoulder of tahsildar Arati after the town panchayat election on Monday.
While speaking to media persons, Srinivas was seen with his arm over the official’s shoulder. The tahsildar was the returning officer for the town panchayat election. The incident occurred when the results were being announced.
Srinivas is known to wrap his arm on people around him when he is speaking and put his hand on the woman tahsildar’s shoulder unknowingly, his aides claimed.
