KALABURAGI: A Group-D staffer at the central jail here has been arrested by the Karnataka State Industrial Security Force (KSISF) personnel after she was found to be supplying ganja to a jail inmate. The arrested employee is Padmavathi Hosamani.
The KSISF personnel were perplexed on repeatedly finding ganja with the jail inmates. On checking the staff near the entry gate, they found the Padmavathi was carrying about 100 gm of ganja in a cloth ball in a bag. Upon questioning, she admitted that she was supplying the ganja to an accused, Nagaraj.
The woman has been arrested and a case registered at the Farhatabad police station.
